Augey Red Bordeaux – 65% merlot, 25% cabernet Sauvignon & 10% Cabernet Franc.
Chateau Pierre Bise Rose
Louis Bernard Chateauneuf-du-Pape – Rhone – This is a wonderful tower of ripe fruit and spice with blackberry and black cherry aromas missing with nutmeg and black pepper on the nose and palate.  This is a truly outstanding wine with enough firm tannins to guarantee long term improvement in the cellar
Louis Bernard Cotes Du Rhone – Full bodied seductive red with a mineral tightness on the mid palate.  A “Black Lab” wine – big dark and friendly.  Inky dark with loads of ripe fruit and enough spice to make it interesting.  I is an easy drinker.

Louis Bernard Cotes Du Rhone Villages – Rhone  Delicious stylish young red.  Dark colored and medium bodied, its tannins are sweet and there is a pure fruit on the finish.  Clean pure fruit, with mineral, spice, mocha and coffee notes.

Goats Do Roam Red -Round and Ripe A blend of Pinotage, Shiraz,. Cinault, Grenach and other grapes.  Plum and berry flavors and sweet smoke on the finish.  Excellent Tuesday night red wine.  Straight forward and engaging.
Chateau LaFite Rothschild

Paul Jaboulet Parallele 45 – Rhone – Inky deep with fruit and a cinnamon note, this rich wine marries deep raspberry and cherry fruit with meaty Syrah notes and plenty of oak.  This is one very “user friendly” Rhone wine.  

Barbera- at Mac's
Most successful in Italy's Piedmont region. High acidity, deep ruby color and full body, with low tannins & berrylike flavors.
Barbaresco- at Mac's
A red wine from the Piedmont Region of Italy, made from Nebbiolo grapes it is lighter than Barolo .
Bardolino- at Mac's
A light red wine from the Veneto Region of Italy. Blended from several grapes the wine garnet in color, dry and slightly bitter, sometimes lightly sparkling. 
Beaujolais- at Mac's     
Typically light, fresh, fruity red wines from and area south of Burgundy, near Lyons, in eastern France. Areas: Beaujolais-Blanc, Beaujolais-Villages, Brouilly, Chénas, 
George Duboeuf, Beaujolais Villages - Rich purple color with long legs this wine has a class Beaujolais nose of jammy raspberry, with some hints of earth,.   Medium bodied with good fruit concentration and enough acidity to swtand up to food.  Rich jammy raspberry and strawberry flavors that linger on the palate.  It has a pleasant be;rry finish with a hint of tartness.  Enjoy with sausages or any backyard barbecue fare

The great grape of Northern Italy, which excels there in Barolo and Barbaresco, strong, ageable wines.
These wines are typically and have a body.
Valpolicella at Mac's   (Val po lee CHEL lah)This wine is a fuller red wine. Valpolicella has a velvety texture which pairs well with hard cheeses. There perfect wine for a cold winter night. These wines are typically dry and have a heavy body.

Bolla - Valpolicella
A spicy flavor of cheries, berries and other dark fruits. it goes well with roast beef, lamb and most full flavored foods. This wine is also delicous slightly chilled.

Cabernet Sauvignons - at Mac's
If Chardonnay is queen, then Cabernet Sauvignon is most definitely king.
A deep-coloured, thick-skinned grape, it typically produces dark flavoursome wines.  Cabernet Sauvignon grape makes wines that are high in tannin and are medium to full-bodied with aroma and flavor of blackcurrants. These wines are typically dry and have a medium body.

Rodney Strong Cabernet Sauvignon – This is a lot of wine for the price.  Leads with cedar - Well ripened blackberry fruit – and hints of licorice on the nose and follows with smooth medium bodied blackberry & cassis palate.  Pairs nicely with good.  Probably not a good cellar candidate but very drinkable with anything from hamburger to a filet.
