WineHaven's legacy began
three generations ago, when the Peterson family first
produced honey and fruit in the scenic St. Croix River
Valley.
Each generation passed the secrets of the earth on to the
next, always striving for higher quality. In keeping with
that tradition, the Petersons founded WineHaven with a
commitment to producing the highest quality grape, honey,
and fruit wines. WineHaven's unique selection of
award-winning wines is available for free wine tasting.

Northern
Vineyards Winery is located in historic downtown Stillwater.
Enjoy complimentary wine tasting year round in our tasting

deck that overlooks the
scenic St. Croix River and the historic lift bridge.
Gold Medal award winning wines produced here from Minnesota
and Wisconsin grown grapes are available for tasting and
sales in our retail room. Tours of the winery are

Established in 1992, Saint Croix Vineyards has built a reputation for producing fine
Minnesota wines. Our award-winning wines
range from the dark, intense, oak-aged
Frontenac to the semi-dry Vignoles,
reminiscent of a fine German Reisling. Our
most memorable wine, Raspberry Infusion,
is a decadent wine described by the Star
Tribune as "...a massive dessert wine that
begs to be consumed with chocolate."
We welcome you to visit our rustic tasting
room and gift shop in a restored century-old
barn and enjoy a stroll through our
picturesque vineyards. We offer
complimentary wine samples during our
open tasting room hours.

Alexis
Bailly Vineyard is Minnesota's oldest
winery. Undeterred by skeptics who
asserted that no wine grape could
withstand Minnesota's harsh winters,
David Bailly rose to the challenge of
establishing a new viticultural region by
planting a 12-acre rye field with wine
grapes in 1973. French wine makers have
long held that in order to produce great
wine, the grapes must go through hardship
- wind, sleet, snow, drought.
Enthusiastically, Bailly adopted the motto
"Where the Grapes Can Suffer". For over
30 years, Alexis Bailly Vineyard has been
bringing unlikely fame to the wine-drinking

Wine
makers Paul and Sharon Shuster and John Wildmo produce 7-
8,000 gallons of wine per year crafted in small batches. The
crisp clean taste of rhubarb is their signature wine.
Rhubarb, chokecherries, raspberries, and plums are grown at
the farm. Additional fruits
and berries are from local growers. The Winery produces nine
single fruit wines and blends including Summer Blush
(strawberry rhubarb), Headwaters Classic Red (chokecherry
rhubarb), raspberry rhubarb, and blueberry rhubarb.

Winter Winery's Mission is to create high quality mead,
bracketts (honey and grain), pyments (honey and grape),
melomels (honey and fruit) , metheglins (honey and spices)
and hard ciders using locally produced fruits and honey.

Winter Winery, born in the summer of 1996 in the northern
Wisconsin town of Iron River, is operated on the principals
of sustainability. All of our products use locally grown
fruit and honey whenever possible. We “work out” from
our location until we find what we need. In this way we are
able to sustain not only ourselves but our neighbors as
well. Our belief has always been that we should use what is
grown in our own back yard, not ship it in from across the
country or across the world.

Three Lakes Winery was established in 1972. Using
traditional home winemaking techniques, wines such as
Cranberry and Apricot were made using "whole-berry"
fermentation. We are still a family run business and
the recipes for making our wines are still the same today.
As the name suggests, we are located in
Three Lakes...right
downtown in the old railroad depot.
Three Lakes, is a
beautiful area, for outdoor recreation, in the Northwoods of
Wisconsin....in the
Nicolet National Forest.
We are also in a large
cranberry production
area - explaining our beautiful selection of cranberry
wines.
Store hours are nine to five, seven days a week, all year

The
Chamberlins lived in Egelsbach, Germany for several years
while Troy served in the United States Air Force. The couple
frequented wineries throughout Europe. Upon returning to
Minnesota, Troy and Laura decided to bring the romance of
the European wineries to the Midwest.
With a vision and, the Chamberlin’s set forth to create
their dream: bringing a European-style winery to the rolling
hills of the St. Croix Valley. We are proud to
introduce to you Chateau St. Croix, a winery created in the
image of a European estate, complete with vineyards, a
carriage house, stables, formal gardens and a fishing pond.
