The class of 1970 - 70 strong - started school in buildings throughout the district.
3rd grade          1st grade
2nd grade    Kindergarten

One of the  kindergarten classes started in town with Mrs. Steenie.
Karen Satter, Bobby Toycen, Jim Schindler, Chuck Johnson, Jean Vettrus, Randy Mortensen, Sue Holman, Lee Frogner, Barb Haugdahl, Betty Dressel, Joyce Knutson, Marcia Knoepke,

Miss Emerson was our first grade teacher - we were joined by students from:
Mrs.  Grabow taught us cursive handwriting
Mrs. De Soto - In third grade - new friends came in from
Remember the "mimeo" room and the "sick" room?
5th grade
4th grade 
Mrs. Boetcher was our 4th grade teacher - we got to go "upstairs"
Mrs. Latch had the 5th graders
 
In 6th grade - we opened the new elementary school.  As we were joined by classmates coming in from              our group grew large enough for two classrooms.  Mrs.                      and Mrs. Thomley         

We moved back to our original K-3 classrooms for 7th and 8th grades.   Kid's came into town from
Didn't we have Mrs. Grogen and   ?????

Finally, freshman year the kids from           came into town.

Remember going back to our old  4th grade room for Mr. Kongslie's history class? 
And the bees in the typing room that had been Mrs. Latch's 5th grade room?
